RouterOS offers a comprehensive range of networking features, including routing, firewall, bandwidth management, wireless access point, backhaul link, hotspot gateway, VPN server, and more.
When a computer is not accessible, the MikroTik smartphone app allows for easy router configuration.
By default, the username on new routers is "admin". The password is usually left empty or specified in the accompanying documentation.
RouterOS requires a MikroTik router running version 6 or newer.
